The stay was so good that we were genuinely sad to leave, and we’re already sure we’ll come back one day. The B&B was spotless, the beds were comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the pool was lovely and refreshing. Elisabetta and Marco were wonderful hosts, always glad to share tips on places to visit and restaurants they like themselves. They did everything they could to make our holiday special. Some places stay vivid in your memory for years. Casatorre was like that for us. Even the entrance, with its view as you open the gates, feels grand, but what really made the stay were Marco, Elly, and her mom. They’re among the kindest and most generous hosts we’ve met, and you can tell how much they love what they do. That care shows in the relaxed, thoughtful details around the property, from the charming rooms and their artsy touches to breakfast outside overlooking the olive trees. They serve pastries they make themselves or bring fresh from the local bakery in town. We also loved the simple moments: sharing wine as the sun set over the mountains and the pool caught the light, ordering pizza from the local pizzeria, and tossing a baseball with my son among the olive trees. There were cappuccinos and conversations about life, and comparisons of growing up in Italy and the US. They told us we were the first family from the United States to stay with them. I’m almost tempted to keep Casatorre a secret, but it’s too good not to share. We already miss all three of you, and Dusty too. If you’re in the area, or even passing nearby, we couldn’t recommend a visit more.

The building and its countryside views are beautiful, and the pool is magnificent. Breakfast was fabulous, with little daily changes to suit what we liked, and their advice for getting the most out of our outings was priceless. The view alone is amazing, but Elisabetta and Marco’s service and eye for detail make the difference. They deserve six stars out of five.

We had three lovely days, and Elisabetta and her husband made sure everything was just right. They even arranged a vegan breakfast for us and helped us find vegan places for dinner. The rooms and the view were magnificent. Thanks for those three days!
