Hotel Bellavista

Paola, the manager, was friendly, helpful, and always smiling. She gave advice and arranged yoga and aqua gym for a small fee. The pool bar served food and drinks throughout pool hours, 9am to 7pm, and even a standard coffee was only 1.2 EUR. We liked the good-sized pool with jacuzzi, breakfast, and restaurant meals, which were reasonably good and fairly priced, better than most beach restaurants in our view. The shared library, fridge, garden, playground for small children, indoor and outdoor entertainment areas, and chance to socialize with other families made it easy to relax with the kids. The hotel is on a hill, about halfway between the highway and beach, with the first free beach around a 15-minute walk away. There’s parking for about 10 cars. The downsides were the small room, distance to the beach, and price. In July we paid about 170 EUR a day for a four-bed room that was the same size as a two-bed room. We missed having a kitchen or even a fridge in the room, and couldn’t run the noisy AC overnight. Everything felt a bit dated, as you might expect from Italian hotels, but it was clean and working, with no bad surprises. We’d visit again despite those drawbacks.

I was travelling alone and the clean room with a bath was just right for me. The owner was very helpful, showing me when the bus ran to the small village I wanted to visit, and driving me to the station in Dino when I needed to catch a train to Nice. I liked being able to eat at the hotel in the evening too, and the garden full of flowers was lovely. I had a relaxing stay at hotel Bellavista at the end of Octobre this year. Thank you, I WILL BE BACK!

Just no. This hotel used to be very good, with great service, but now it’s all bad. The rooms are worn and dirty, the restaurant food is sad, and the service is really poor. Choose another hotel if you can.

We arrived very late, after the kitchen had closed, but they reopened it and made us a good meal. Clean, good, and reasonably priced.
