Casal d'Upupa

The owner was very kind and helpful. The location is handy too, close to the train station and a grocery store.

There were three of us today, my partner, our 9-month-old son, and me. It’s a fabulous, airy place, and we had a great time. There are lots of shaded spots where you can sit and eat your own lunch. We’ll definitely come back ❤️

We really liked how much freedom we had here. The owners are kind and available whenever you need them, but they don’t hover. As a young couple, we’ve sometimes felt put on the spot by questions and curiosity elsewhere, and that didn’t happen here at all. Even by the pool, which was clean and lovely, we could choose where to sit and what to do without being bothered. Our ground-floor apartment was fresh, comfortable, and very clean. The kitchen had a range of dishes and all the cleaning detergents we needed. Although the station is nearby, we only heard the trains once during our four-day stay. Shops and other essentials are just a few minutes away by car, or barely a minute through the underpass. Take the left exit, not the right one the GPS suggests. Highly recommended.

For a pool day, there are umbrellas and loungers, plus a nice shaded spot with wooden tables and benches for lunch. Everything is very well kept. I’ve been coming to Casal D'upupa for years to spend a relaxing day by the pool, and it really is wonderful. They also have B&B service with beautiful rooms. P.S. There’s a paddle tennis court too! 😉
