Set right on the market square in the town centre, so it got a little noisy at night. Light sleepers might want earplugs. Still, I’d gladly stay again. It’s a beautiful old house, and my room was charmingly furnished. Everything was straightforward, the place was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The rooms are clean, though small, and check-in has to be done before 7:00 p.m. Breakfast is part of the price, but you can only get it after 9:30 a.m.
The place felt welcoming, with a lovely fireplace, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The delicate prosciutto was good, as were the delicious pasta dishes and desserts. Everything was good.
The location in the centre is excellent, and the staff were polite. They even offer a 10% discount for eating cold cuts at the shop right across from the room. But this place is called an apartment, and it’s just a large room with two beds, one double and one sofa bed. There’s a closet with a fridge that holds maybe three bottles of water, but no microwave, so you can’t even heat a slice of pizza if you want to cook. A lot of basics are missing, including sugar and toilet paper. The bathroom only has cold water. Parking is far from the room.
The owner was friendly and helpful, and the apartment was very clean. The location is excellent, with a view over the town centre and the little square. Highly recommended.
