What we loved most was how quiet it was: the accommodation sits at the end of a cul-de-sac with no passing car traffic, yet the nearest large town is only 20 minutes away, with markets, bars, clubs, ice cream shops and a harbor for boat rentals. From the door, a lovely lakeside footpath begins, and a pizzeria is a five-minute walk away. The clean pebble beach is just a few meters from the accommodation. On site, there’s tasty food and snacks, plus three whirlpools with loungers and a direct lake view, where friendly staff serve you. We felt at home from our first day. The welcome was warm, we were shown around straight away, and everything was tidy and very clean. Our dog got a welcome pack and was treated kindly, and could go everywhere with us. The air conditioning meant we could leave him in the accommodation without any problems. Parking is a 1-2 minute walk away. We’d recommend this place to families, couples and people with dogs. A big compliment to the staff.

The place felt like a safety hazard, a disaster waiting to happen. We were met with a bad, uninterested attitude from staff, and were charged extra for just about everything. When we raised issues, they looked at us as though we were being unreasonable. The cabin wasn’t finished and the fridge door was already broken. There were no sun loungers on the terrace as our reservation said there would be. Its pool/jacuzzi was dirty and smelly, with filthy black stuff along the water’s edge. We weren’t allowed to let our 7-year-old son swim in the general pool, and staff reprimanded us for it. It was just too bad to describe, and we’re not usually complainers.

The staff were very friendly, and you can pay by credit card. The small pitches each have a private bathroom, though ours didn’t seem to have been cleaned for the last 3 guests, I assume. The campsite is right by lago de garda, but the driveway leading to it is very narrow.
