Situated in the heart of Tuscany in Chianti Classico, San Felice is only 30 minutes' drive from the art and cultural centres of Siena (25 km), San Gimignano (45 km), Arezzo, Montalcino, Montepulciano and Florence (75 km). Guests will find restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity, and the centre of Castelnuovo Berardenga is a 10-minute drive away. The train station in Siena is a 30-minute drive, the outlet centre is 45 minutes' drive and Castello di Brolio is just a 5-minute drive. Florence-Peretola Airport is approximately 70 km from the hotel and Pisa-Galileo Galilei airport is around 180 km away.
This charming country house is elegant, comfortable and appointed with traditional furnishings and Tuscan antiquities. Guests can taste the famous wines and the excellent extra-virgin olive oil produced by the Azienda Agricola San Felice in the hotel wine shop. Originally built in 1714 and renovated in 2011, this family-friendly country house now offers 43 guest rooms and a wide range of facilities, which include a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and a cloakroom.
Guests can also enjoy a heated, open-air swimming pool open in summer, tennis courts and a Health & Beauty Center.
The building offers elegant and comfortable suites and double rooms with traditional furnishings and Tuscan antiquities, preserving the authentic atmosphere of the ancient noble residences of Chianti. Dinner at the Michelin-starred restaurant stood out for its care and variety. We ate there twice, and the team made sure each evening brought different dishes; the food, bread, service, and little details were all amazing. You can feel how much effort and passion everyone puts into the experience. We also had friends join us for a day, including a truffle hunt arranged by the property. They weren't staying at the hotel, but they were just as impressed by the atmosphere and impeccable service. Throughout our stay at Borgo San Felice, Elena, the concierge, and the sommelier made us feel welcome and looked after. The team treated us less like hotel guests and more like family in a beautiful home. Everything exceeded our expectations. Luxury, warmth, and authenticity all came together in a way that felt perfect.

After a busy week and a half seeing Rome and Florence, my wife and I wanted a little time to unwind in Tuscan wine country. Borgo San Felice was just right for that. We spent time at the spa, tried a wine tasting, and relaxed by the pool. The rooms were exceptional, housekeeping was amazing, and everyone on staff was friendly and accommodating. Service was top notch, and both restaurants on site were awesome. They also offer tennis, hiking, and biking adventures. A perfect spot for a relaxing wellness break.

The wine tasting was a highlight, and there was plenty to do right on the property. We played tennis, swam, and went to the gym; everything was clean and well kept. We liked the stay so much that we spent most of our time there, even though wineries and castles nearby were tempting to explore. There was never a dull moment. We stayed two nights and loved the service, setting, and breakfast. The property is beautiful and full of charm, with a relaxing, luxurious feel from the start. At check-in, the staff warmly welcomed us and took time to tell us some of the hotel's history, which made it feel more personal. Our one small disappointment was the Michelin-starred restaurant. For the price and reputation, we expected more. The food was okay, but it didn't feel as special as we'd hoped. We'd still absolutely stay here again next time.

I work in luxury hospitality, so I know how much reviews and suggestions matter. You guys really knocked it out of the park. This is one of my favorite resorts in Italy. When you're in Italia, you have to experience this Tuscany resort.

We had such a wonderful stay. The place is beautiful, and the staff were exceptional. We enjoyed the spa, a vineyard tour and tasting, a cooking class, and Michelin dining. Couldn't have asked for a better visit.
