The hiking around here is inspiring, and the location itself is amazing. We had the set menu, with excellent pork shank the first night and salmon the next. The staff were friendly, and Manuel really looked after us Americans, making sure we had everything we needed.

After a day of trekking, this is a lovely spot to rest and enjoy the mountain view. Kids can run around in the meadow, and there are animals to watch, though they may not suit children who are sensitive to that. The table service was quick and polite, the prices fair, and the local dishes good. Gasthof Saltner Edelweiss is a splendid place to stop.

I liked seeing the animals, and there are pretty easy hiking trails nearby. It seems ideal for families, couples, and hikers. The waiter was nice and tried to get me to taste his favorite wine, but I told him I have my own tastes. I had coffee, meals, and wine. The restroom is next door, downstairs on the left, in case you're wondering. Thanks for checking out my reviews. Life is a gift 💙

The family who runs this place and the rest of the staff were really friendly and helpful. There are lots of animals for kids to see, and the location is great for long walks in the woods or even a horseback ride. We had a great stay.

We visited twice and enjoyed the tasty food, friendly staff, and lovely scenery, with plenty of walking paths around. We'd definitely come back.
