We stayed four nights in one of the renovated rooms and loved it. It was clean, looked just like the pictures, and the hosts were polite, helpful, and quick to communicate. We were near lots of wineries, and just a 5-10 minute walk from restaurants and shops, while far enough from the streets that fill with tourists during the day. We’d absolutely stay again. We didn’t get a booking confirmation email when we first reserved, which left us with some questions since we were booking in another country. But we contacted the hosts and they replied right away with confirmation and more information. Everything worked out very well, so there’s no need to worry about that here.

Having a spacious, well-equipped room in a great spot in the old town made our few days in San Gimignano an even better choice. Everything was new, very clean, and pleasant, and we were close to the main squares and nearby restaurants. Walking around the city at night was lovely. The owners were attentive, and I’d return without hesitation.

A two-minute walk takes you to the central square, with plenty of restaurants and wineries nearby. The rooms are clean and have all the comforts, and the price feels fair for what you get. Definitely recommend it.

The hotel's name is a tribute to the photographer who owns it and to his son. You can see their taste and sensitivity throughout the property, from the spectacular photographs in our room to the other spaces. The reception worked wonderfully, and every staff member was extremely friendly during our visit. We had a spectacular stay. The rooms are brand new, and every detail has been carefully looked after. We would definitely stay again. San Gimignano itself is stunning, well worth visiting, and a must-see on a Tuscany trip.
