We had a great time in Tuscany, thanks in part to Antonella, who was a wonderful host and made sure we enjoyed ourselves. Breakfast costs 10 euro/person and is a treat every day, with something special changing each morning, like tiramisu one day and lots of cakes the next. The pool was big and clean, looking out over the San Gimignano hills. The bed and pillows were comfortable too.

Such a lovely, peaceful place, and it worked well for us with a baby. Breakfast was good, with fresh scrambled eggs. The hosts were kind and attentive, and happy to help with anything we needed.

Antonella is a sweetheart. She greeted us warmly every evening when we came back from exploring Tuscany. The place is lovely too, with a great view of San Gimingano and the surrounding rolling hills. Her food isn’t bad either :) She’ll make sure you put on a couple of pounds while you’re there.

The pool was a real plus, with amazing views of the towers of San Gimignano, and its area was clean and peaceful. There was lots of outdoor space for sitting and relaxing. The rooms were spacious and rustic, and everything was clean and quiet. It’s a 10-minute drive to San Gimignano. A few things could have been better. The bed and pillows weren’t very comfortable, and there was no cleaning during our stay, though that may have been mentioned somewhere on their website in Italian. The city tax wasn’t included in the room price, which surprised us a little. It wasn’t a big deal, but it should have been part of the cost from the start. Communication in English was difficult by phone, email, and in person. There was no service, breakfast, or coffee because of Covid19 restrictions, which wasn’t their fault.
