Walking into San Gimignano takes about 15 minutes, so we hardly needed the car for town. We also explored nearby villages and towns, and caught the train to Florence and Siena from Poggibonsi station. The house sits among olive groves on three acres, with plenty of outdoor dining space and a lovely pool with loungers, shade and cushions. There are four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, spread over two levels. Everything was spotless. Vittorio and Marina made us feel very welcome. Their home is on the same land, but they gave us plenty of privacy. You can tell how much they care about Podere La Tesa and helping guests enjoy the area. We had a wonderful week there. Such a little gem.

Being able to walk into San Gimignano so easily was a real plus, and the villa, gardens, pool and views all matched what we had hoped for. Marina and Vittorio were warm, kind hosts, and my family and I enjoyed every bit of our stay. A lovely taste of Tuscany.

We spent a really relaxing week enjoying the lovely garden and pool. The villa was just what we hoped for, with two apartments and all the amenities we needed. San Gimignano is a short walk away, and Florence and Siena are close enough for a day of exploring.
