We got a great night's sleep here while on a week-long hike. The place was lovely and comfortable, and the hostess was kind and welcoming. It had all the amenities we could have wanted, plus a hearty breakfast. Suzanna was especially kind.

After the busy cities of Tuscany, this little stay in the woods was a wonderful place to recharge. Il Vado felt like a cozy cottage from a fairy tale, and Susannah was such a warm host. I'll remember our evening chats by the fire, even though my Italian is very limited. The homemade jam and yogurt at breakfast were delicious, and I fell asleep listening to an owl.

You can hear the river while eating breakfast or sitting outside. The rooms are clean, and it's a lovely place to hike or stop for a night. The hosts are so friendly, you can't help loving Susanna and Beppe :-) Great atmosphere, too.

Susanna was a wonderful host. She suggested the sacred forest trek for our hike, then made us a delicious breakfast with biscuits, yogurt, and her homemade plum cake. The room was very comfortable, and the property is beautifully surrounded by greenery. We'll definitely return.

Such a warm welcome, a clean room, and a truly lovely, distinctive house. The surrounding park is beautiful, and we got to use the pool as well. Breakfast on the terrace, with homemade products, was magnificent. The care and hospitality really showed.
