The area is peaceful, with restaurants close by and parking right outside, which made a one-night stop easy. The house is divided into sections with separate guest rooms, and there's a shared kitchen and living room with a TV. Our room felt cramped, especially with nowhere to fit our suitcases, though the separate bathroom was private and very spacious. The place was clean, but I’m not keen on shower curtains because they seem unhygienic to me. Breakfast is self-serve: the owners make fresh croissants and cakes, while the other food is packaged. There’s a capsule coffee machine, and milk and tea water are heated on a hotplate. No savory food is offered. We were only passing through for one night, and it worked fine for that. I think the small room would be difficult for a longer stay.

It’s a lovely, clean place and everyone was friendly. The location works well if you’re hoping to explore more of Sicily. My one concern is the partition across the hallway, which doesn’t feel fully private to me. A plasterboard wall might solve it, or perhaps a walk-in closet could separate the two “apartments” if a wall isn’t possible. Even so, it’s a great place.

The welcome was warm, the bed was comfortable, and everything was clean. A perfect B&B as a base for visiting Mount Etna. I’d recommend it.

A clean place with a very kind, attentive owner who takes care of guests’ needs. The quality for the price is really excellent.
