The atmosphere was nice and the service was good. The food tasted good too, though the portions weren't what you'd expect at a traditional “osteria”. That turned out to be a plus for me, since I left satisfied without feeling completely full.

The food was simple and fresh, straight from the farm. I loved having gluten-free pasta and dessert options. Let them know ahead of time that you're gluten-free, and they can prepare more choices for you.

Our tour group took a cooking class with Chef Frattini at her farm, and it ended up being a major highlight of my trip to Italy. The recipes were simple; learning the right techniques was the key. Everyone soon got into the process, and we proudly shared the dishes we made around the dinner table. Chef Frattini was engaging, helpful and encouraging. Her way of teaching made the whole class a joy.
