The spa, rooms, and shared spaces are beautifully done, with modern comfort that fits the castle’s history. Staying in an ancient castle that’s been reimagined for today made the experience even more memorable. For somewhere that has only just opened, the execution is impressive, and the hotel was already running smoothly. The team seemed well trained and worked together naturally. Every person we met gave excellent service, so I can’t single anyone out. That coordinated, welcoming approach clearly runs through the whole hotel. Requests were handled thoughtfully and quickly, whether it was adjusting dishes to suit us or helping us buy medication from a local pharmacy. The attentiveness reminded me of Aman properties, often seen as a standard for refined hospitality. Please keep going just as you are. It’s rare to see this level of care from the very beginning. Highly recommended!

We took over the whole property for our daughter’s wedding, and were a bit nervous about booking from Australia. There was no need to worry. Castel Badia delivered on the service, organisation, room quality, and a terrific breakfast. We couldn’t fault it and were very happy with how everything turned out. No request was a problem. It’s hard to put into words just how stunning Castel Badia is. The property is beautiful and manages to feel luxurious while keeping its original character. The staff were very attentive, and they made our dinner feel special.

The family who own this incredible hotel and restaurant welcomed us into their world and shared how they brought a once-beautiful but run-down convent back to life as the heritage building it is now. The setting is unlike anything I’ve experienced. They know the history like historians, and you can feel their passion as they tell the story of the caste. A personal tour around the grounds and building included little “wow” stories and made the place’s 4000+ years of history feel vivid. I left with an unforgettable experience and real admiration for their lifelong dedication and hard work. They’ve brought a chapter of history back to life for us and for future generations to enjoy.
