Sabine and Walter also shared thoughtful suggestions for great restaurants and things to do around the Dolomites, which really added to our trip. Our honeymoon at Castel Maurn was an unforgettable highlight. From the moment we arrived, their warm welcome made us feel at home. The beautiful details across the estate show how much time, care, and talent they’ve put into creating a place with real charm and elegance.

The breakfast setup in the rooms made mornings easy and relaxing, a lovely way to start the day. Such a charming place, and Walter is a great host. Highly recommend!

Walter and Sabine were great at booking our evening meals, and every restaurant turned out perfectly. Their care shows in all the details, from the soft towels and stylish furniture to the breakfast, well equipped kitchen, gym, and restored wall paintings. We loved unwinding in the spa in particular. Castel Maurn is a heavenly place, a 1,000 year old castle lovingly turned into beautiful holiday apartments. You can tell the hosts have put their hearts into every part of it. We stayed for four nights in January, using it as a base to visit Bruneck, Cortina, and San Lorenzo. We’ll definitely be back in summer to use the pool.
