There’s plenty of outdoor green space with games for children, and the farm has cows, calves, pigs, chickens, cats, and a dog. The family running it is genuinely friendly and very helpful. We found the typical wood-furnished apartments clean and well supplied with dishes. It’s a beautiful farmhouse, well placed for visiting Val Pusteria, Val Badia, and Valle Aurina. More like a dream than a house for spending a holiday.

You can set off hiking from the farm itself and head into the mountains via Pfalzen. It’s a great farm above St. Lorenzen, and the apartment is very well maintained. Brixen’s bus stop is a 15-minute walk away, and rides are free with a guest card.

The hosts are incredibly kind and do everything they can to make your holiday perfect. Though the location is secluded, amenities and activities are easy to reach. Free public transport makes it simple to explore all of Alto Adige, including its many museums. A peaceful holiday spot with something for solo travellers, couples, and families alike.

We’ve already been here three times this year, and it feels like home as soon as we arrive. The welcome is so warm. Mornings bring fresh milk from their cows, and on Shrove Tuesday Marlies surprised us with what might be the world’s best Berliner doughnuts! There are lovely hiking routes right from this peaceful farm. The apartments are carefully and beautifully furnished, with everything you need. We’ll definitely return :-)

Every morning we enjoyed fresh milk straight from the barn in front, along with delicious eggs. Our apartment was large and spotlessly clean, and we had a week with genuinely special, welcoming, kind hosts. The prices are very fair. We loved the stay and will definitely come back.
