We were backpackers looking for somewhere to stay, and they welcomed us like family. The staff were amazing, and the cleaners do a grand job. The hotel is beautiful and so friendly, and the food smells coming from the restaurant were outstanding. 10/10.

The beds were comfortable, the mountain views were lovely, and breakfast had plenty of choice, including eggs made to order and crispy bacon. But the rooms need maintenance, with mildew in the shower and chipped paint, and the place looked better in photos. Worse, the manager gave a French couple the key to my room. They walked in while I was undressing to shower. A few minutes later he came up and told me I was in the wrong room instead of apologizing. I showed him my room number on the card, and I couldn't have entered without the right key, but he still made me feel as if I'd done something wrong. On the same trip, before heading up for the Palaronda Trek, I stayed at another hotel down the street in San Martino. It was cleaner, with very similar rooms and breakfast, a large park, and even nicer balconies and views, and cost 30 euros less. Compared with nearby hotels in the same village, I don't think this one is good value.

Some rooms have a stunning view, and the cuisine is varied and delicious, with plenty to leave you full and satisfied. The staff were super friendly too. A charming, wonderful place, and I'd definitely return.

We had comfortable rooms and enjoyed the new spa, all in a friendly family hotel. The food was excellent, and it made for a perfect holiday in the snow of Dolomiti.
