There’s a pool and sauna downstairs, plus a spa with lots of treatment options. The rooms are nicely appointed and decorated in the hotel’s classy, quirky style, and the whole place feels comfortable. It’s been here since 1888, which fits the charming, unusual atmosphere. The staff were pleasant, especially the servers. The restaurant only opens for one hour, but it’s cozy then and the food is great. Internet is available, though we had trouble connecting in parts of our room. The common areas had a better connection if needed.

We were really pleased with our stay. The hotel may not be new, but it’s spotlessly clean and has a warm family atmosphere. The staff were extremely kind, and the restaurant was top notch.

I loved this holiday. The mountain view was beautiful, especially at night, and made me feel like I was in a Harry Potter movie. It was quiet and intimate, with live music nights and a bar for drinks. We even played chess after breakfast, and I’d love to have dinner there again. The wine was great too. The hotel has a lovely vintage feel, with San Martino's history shown in its photos and books. Our room was beautifully styled down to the details, and both the room and hotel were very clean. I slept like a baby. The owners and staff were polite, always smiling, and spoke very nicely. They were there whenever we needed help. The food and services were top notch. The meals were wonderful for the price, and I honestly had the best water of my life. Breakfast was in a cute area with plenty of food and drinks to choose from.

The hotel is even more charming in person than it looks in the photos. The hospitality and service felt like a five-star hotel, and having a driver take us to and from the slopes was really convenient.

Bookings here don’t feel safe. Two months before a multi-night stay in the busy summer season, I was told that my January booking had been cancelled because the hotel was overbooked. I suspect they may have taken higher-rate bookings instead, but I can’t be sure.
