Florence Luxury Suites

The staff were quick to respond, though keep in mind this is just one room, without the other amenities you'd expect from a typical hotel. For our one night in Florence, the location was perfect: we easily walked to every site we wanted to see. The room was spotless, spacious for a couple, and felt both clean and luxurious. I'd book it again in a heartbeat.

The room was cozy and charming, with great shower pressure. It was quiet at night, and I felt safe there. Housekeeping cleaned thoroughly each day, and the photos showed the property accurately. Getting around was easy, too, with Firenze Santa Maria Novella station a five-minute walk away and the city center 10-15 minutes away. From booking onward, the host sent clear, detailed instructions and was responsive and helpful. Check-in is self-service, so this suits independent travelers more than anyone who wants a host to greet them in person. I had no significant complaints and would happily stay again.

The check-in codes made arrival easy. My room was clean and well equipped, with a comfortable bed, a spacious modern bathroom, and a location that was easy to find. I didn't meet any staff. The self-check-in instructions came by WhatsApp, and the messages felt copied rather than personal. My room had no real view, just a wall from another building, while the bathroom window faced an inner yard. On the first floor, I was a little uncomfortable that the bathroom curtain was see-through and couldn't fully close. The shower pressure was poor.

Think twice before booking. You can't even unload a car here, and the location behind the train station means you can hear the tram from the room. The bathroom wasn't in good condition. Furnishings were limited to a bed, small chair, and cupboard. Another chair or a bedside table would have helped. The landlord didn't seem interested in helping with any concerns, and nobody was there to welcome us.
