Simona was great to deal with and kept in touch really well. The rooms were huge, clean, and quiet. And the location is hard to beat: on the more local side of the bridges, but still right in the middle of everything.

We had a lovely week here, and Simona was a big part of that. She was attentive, quick to respond, professional, and always ready to help. Her warmth and great sense of humor made us feel welcome and made the stay truly memorable. Thanks for everything!

Santo Spirito made it easy to reach restaurants, shops, and museums on foot. Our room was spotless and thoughtfully decorated, with high ceilings, big windows, and a ceiling painting that looks even better in person. There’s an elevator for guests who may have mobility issues, too. The best part was Simona, the property manager. She made us feel at home right away, and when she learned it was my birthday, she surprised us with champagne and tarts in the room. Maggio Living is the most beautiful place I’ve stayed.

Simone is a really kind, friendly owner, and we’d happily stay here again. The rooms are comfortable and very clean, with high ceilings, a great shower, and clean, comfy mattresses and pillows. There’s even a little kitchen for making tea or coffee, and they clean the room and replace the towels every day. The location is ideal if you want to get away from the tourist crowds while still being about a 10-minute walk from the center. It’s in a part of town where locals still live, so you get a feel for the real Florence. Highly recommend it.
