B&B a Casa di Piero

We stumbled on this place by chance, and it turned out to be a great find. Piero was incredibly courteous and kind. There’s a lovely quiet feel to the setting, with nature all around and snow-covered mountains in view from the big meadow. The rooms have a nice retro style, and there are hot tubs on the lawn and bikes. In winter, you can go on snowmobile trips and have lunch at the refuge. Wonderful!

We’re staying at Piero’s for the second year. It feels welcoming and homely, the rooms are spotless, and the mountain view is spectacular. There’s a little stream nearby, and the skating rinks are only a few minutes away. The kittens are incredibly cute, too. You really do feel at home.

A lovely, friendly house in beautiful countryside. Our room was perfect, and the Wi-Fi, bathrooms, and everything else were really good. The owner lives next door and is happy to tell you all about the region. You may even spot the grandmother passing through, she’s utterly charming. We were greeted wonderfully, and the staff were attentive and caring.

Piero made us feel like welcome guests, not customers. He was always around to help, and even recommended a small restaurant and took us there for its magnificent polenta. We stayed around Valentine's Day 2015, and the place was quaint and clean. Breakfast was buffet-style on the veranda, overlooking the Matese mountains. Campitello's ski slopes were a 10-minute drive away, and our daughter had a blast skiing. We’ll definitely return.
