Breakfast was the real highlight, an incredible treat for a private property. We had two spacious rooms on the second floor, with comfortable beds. The hostess was lovely and helpful. The property was closed when we first arrived, but after we messaged and called, she got there very quickly. Getting to the second floor could be tricky: the stairs are very narrow. You can bring luggage in through a side door on that floor, though a few steps may still be an issue if your room is at the far end of the corridor.

Just a few minutes' walk from the old town, this place served the biggest breakfast we've had on the Via Francigena. There were pancakes, freshly boiled eggs, and even fresh bread, which is unusual in Italy.

The room was great for sleeping, and we had easy access to Montalcino and Montepulciano. Clarissa was accommodating and so helpful, while breakfast was over the top, with loads of things to try. Apparently people from nearby towns come just for it. We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful location.

Breakfast had a wonderful spread: cakes Clarissa made herself, cheeses and meats, pastries, yogurt, jams, honey, and fresh pancakes. She was incredibly kind and hospitable. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped, and there's a small park just steps away for walking a dog. The location also worked perfectly for wine tasting in Montalcino and Montepulciano. This was the best B&B I've ever visited. I'd love to come back.

It feels like a home where you're loved and cared for. This is our favourite place in Tuscany, and in all of Italy. There are so many good things to say that I couldn't do it justice. Absolutely love it.
