SARNA Residence

The staff were so helpful and friendly with our two dogs, and they suggested activities around Tuscany that we really enjoyed. Sarna Residence also arranged the bookings with us, including an unforgettable olive oil tasting and a wine tasting. We spent a very relaxing week there. The lovely garden and pool made the accommodation a great place to linger, and although it’s quiet, the supermarket is about a 3-minute walk away and the town centre takes roughly 10 minutes on foot. Highly recommended.

I’ve travelled a lot, and nowhere has stayed with me like Sarna. Gaia is a brilliant host: relaxed, friendly, full of local knowledge, and happy to help plan day trips around Tuscany. The staff, cleanliness, location, and facilities were all perfect. The place is stunning, and I think about it every day. I booked to come back next year as soon as I got home. Can’t wait.

The staff on site were lovely and gave us useful suggestions for nearby towns. We were unlucky with the weather, so we didn’t make as much use of the facilities as we’d hoped. The property is smaller than I pictured, but it has everything, and it’s a handy base for Montalcino, Montepulciano, and Pienza, all about 15-30 minutes away by car. Cooking was difficult in the tiny kitchen: there’s almost no counter space for prep, and washing dishes is awkward. The bathroom layout was odd too. The bidet sits right in front of the toilet, so I had to sit sideways.

The staff made us feel at home during our few days at Sarna Residence. Surrounded by nature, it was a lovely spot to slow down, and we left with memories of a stay in Tuscany that felt special.
