We tried the restaurant’s à la carte lunch while the hotel was full. Service was still quick and really friendly, and every dish came out just right. The modern Italian food was delicious, with surprisingly fair prices for the area. Great value, and I’d happily recommend it.

Dinner was one of the better parts of the stay. You choose three items from five, including soup, starter and main, and there’s also a salad bar. The selection varies quite a bit, from canned tuna and beans to nice pasta and pizza slices. The hotel is close to a bus stop and the ski area, and it’s family run. The room was small, damp, and cold. There was mildew on the wooden parts, and the heating was set centrally to 20.6, running during the day and off at night. When I asked reception to turn it up, they refused very rudely. The hotel is advertised as multilingual, but most staff spoke only Italian or intermediate English. Breakfast was better for sweet things, which seemed to be leftover desserts and cookies from dinner. For savory food there was one kind of ham, one cheese, boiled eggs and one kind of bread roll. Once the breakfast room filled up, choices ran out and it was just rolls with butter. Tablecloths were only changed in the evening, so any spills from dinner were still there at breakfast. For a ** hotel, I’d have been satisfied with the service. For a *** hotel, given what I’ve paid and experienced at other Italian *** hotels in Milan, Rome and the Trentino mountains, I expected more. I wouldn’t recommend it and would stay somewhere else.

The staff are so welcoming and always ready to help. It’s also ideally placed for skiing at Isolaccia, with Bormio nearby.

A lovely place to stay, with warm people and really good regional food. Very good hotel!

We stayed from 31/12/2025 to 02/01/2026 in room 301 on the top floor. It was a bit small but fine for a couple. The ceiling dips low in some spots, so watch your head, though we got used to it quickly. The double bed was very comfortable. In the bathroom, the hose-style hairdryer wasn’t convenient for my long hair, and the toilet brush had very stiff bristles. We brought our own hairdryer since we weren’t sure one would be available. The staff were welcoming and easygoing, from the owner to the restaurant servers and bar staff. Breakfast had a good range of sweet and savory choices, and we both enjoyed it. The restaurant was good too, though I wasn’t keen on the polenta. The location is handy, with a pharmacy and bar right across the way, a laundry a little farther off, and the chairlift access to the slopes nearby. There’s also private parking for hotel guests right in front.
