Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the room was spotless and really comfortable. We also tried the spa, which was such a relaxing experience that I'd definitely recommend it. We had a wonderful time at hotel il cardo, and can't thank you enough for the hospitality.

After hiking in the Dolomites, we booked the hot tub to take in the mountain views, and it was well worth it. The location was impressive, and the staff were exceptional. An absolutely incredible hotel. If we return to the Dolomites, we'll stay here again.

One disappointment was learning at check-in that the restaurant was closed for low season in late September. The bar drinks were very reasonably priced, though, and the breakfast was very good. It got quite busy when it opened at 7:30 on a couple of mornings, but the pancakes, croissants, and bread rolls were lovely. We also enjoyed the tasty sweets each day. We stayed five nights in a stunning spot with amazing views. It's a significant hill to walk up from San Vito di Cadore, but parking is free. The twin sisters at reception, the bar, and breakfast were always welcoming and friendly, and spoke great English. The hotel and our room were very clean, and the room was serviced well every day.

The owner packed us a breakfast box with care on our last day because we had to leave early. We spent two lovely, incredible nights here. The place felt peaceful and relaxing, with a clean room, positive vibes, and an incredible view. I really felt at home. Highly recommended.
