Maria Paola and her daughter Lorena were wonderful, kind, and helpful. Lorena was especially useful since she spoke more languages. They pointed us toward some nice restaurants and took great care of us at breakfast. Breakfast was definitely the best part of the B&B, with freshly made croissants and cakes, good coffee, juices, jams, and all sorts of other things. The location is beautiful, with a pool overlooking the mountains and some very cute, friendly cats around. But the room itself was basic, even though it was a good size. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable, and being beside the street made it noisy. It was also next to the shared living room, and the doors don’t block sound at all. The shower had a mind of its own, swinging from hot to cold, then scalding hot and freezing cold. It wasn’t comfortable.

Breakfast alone was worth the stay, with croissants, homemade cakes, fresh fruit from the garden, and pane cunzatu, Sicilian stuffed bread. The rooms were clean, cozy, and comfortable, and the private pool was great. Everyone in the family made us feel incredibly welcome, and the price was right. The main Macari beaches are within walking distance, 1-2 km away, and there are loads of affordable, cute restaurants nearby. We should all try to be at least a little more like Maria Paola. I’ll come back for sure!

We just got back and liked practically everything. Maria Paola was so kind and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent, generous, and made with fresh, local products from her garden. The place was very clean, and the location was handy for beaches and nearby towns. We’ll definitely return. Thanks for everything. From Vincenzo and Matilde

Breakfast made by Maria Paola was a lovely part of the stay. She was so welcoming and kind, and made us feel at home. The property has a pool, barbecue and indoor parking for cars and motorcycles, and it’s well placed for visiting the coves around Macari. San Vito Lo Capo is only a few kilometers away. A relaxing little paradise, highly recommended.

We felt at home here. The room was spotless, and each morning Maria put out a generous, delicious breakfast. It’s also easy to explore the area’s beaches and towns from this location, and we could park our car on the property.
