Camere Stella del Sud Makari

We loved falling asleep to the breeze from the sea and mountains. When it was hot in the village below, evenings here were wonderfully cool, and we slept so well. We first fell for the Macari area a few years ago, with San Vito's center only 10 minutes away but its frenetic bustle at a distance. The views and sunsets over the sea were the best part of our holiday. Mariolina's B&B was renovated and kept in immaculate shape. Our room was just the right size, with a fridge, safe, and a balcony we adored. Housekeeping was spotless, like a 5-star hotel. Breakfast was served at Macari Caffè, just a couple of minutes on foot, which was very convenient. It's also the owner's place, where you can get arancini, sandwiches, and pizza for lunch at the beach. We'd choose Mariolina again without hesitation if we return to San Vito.

The sunsets from the property were spectacular, a real treat every evening. I spent three nights at this beautiful B&B in Macari and can't recommend it enough. The clean, new place was meticulously kept and had a relaxing, welcoming feel. It also made a great base for seeing this lovely part of Sicily, with the main attractions and nicest beaches only minutes away.

Breakfast is served at a bar only a few dozen meters from the B&B. We were about a 10-minute drive from San Vito Lo Capo, and the room was clean. There was even a little drying rack inside, which came in handy. Recommended!

We spent 12 days here in July and the place has stayed in our hearts. The location made it easy to reach everywhere we wanted to visit. Mariolina was incredibly kind and helpful, and the room had a breathtaking view of the coves of Macari. The rooms are new, lovely, welcoming, and have every comfort. Their bar served a delicious, varied breakfast with sweet and savory choices, and we could buy something to take away for lunch. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend it and hope to come back soon!
