We had eight people staying, yet the apartment was spacious enough that we never felt crowded. It had a large private terrace with a table, chairs and big umbrella, plus a fully working barbecue. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything, and there were two bathrooms, one outdoors with a shower. Air conditioning was in every room, and the apartment was clean with all the comforts we needed. The cleaning staff and owner were friendly and helpful. They even let us leave our luggage while we went for a swim and waited for check-in. There's a well-stocked café and pastry shop across the street for a hearty breakfast. The only downside is that the sea is 500 meters away, still an easy walk, with lots of restaurants along the route and a large supermarket for extras. Toilet paper, for example, went quickly with eight of us. Getting a parking pass was convenient, arranged right in front of the house. It all worked out well, an excellent choice.

We spent time cleaning before checkout, and the rest of the apartment was in good order, but we still felt talked down to over a clean bowl left in the living room, a tiny piece of clear plastic in the shower drain, and a few makeup wipes accidentally left in the bathroom. The comment was, “Do you act like this at home?” It left my friends and me feeling stupid. There were seven of us in the apartment, all underage, and we were treated like criminals from the start. At check-in we were told to avoid cooking, or to clean everything if we did. The place was reasonably equipped, but there was dust around and some kitchen utensils were dirty, worn out, or not working properly. We had to put the sheets on the beds ourselves, and found hairs on the mattress cover under the blanket, so we slept with a sheet over the duvet instead. The question is, are guests expected to do the cleaning, or is that the job of the people assigned to it? I especially wouldn't recommend this place to young people. Avoid it. Just awful.

The furniture and wardrobes are old and smell of mold. The place is also moldy, the beds are poor, and it didn't match what the owner had described. For 1,800 euros for a week, August 21st to 28th, for 8 people, we were missing both a bed and a washing machine. We raised all of this with the owner, but she never replied. The one good thing is the location, about 400 meters from the beach and not far from the center.

We left. There were six of us, worn out from the trip and the 42 degree heat, and we might have put up with almost anything, but the apartment was nothing like the photos. The rooms were extremely small, really cramped. We'd paid, then looked around for about 4 minutes before deciding to go. They kept €60, saying they had to redo the cleaning and the room, even though we'd only viewed it. The cleaning guy left with us, and there was no urgent disinfestation. The only larger double room had a moldy smell; the other rooms were suffocating. The misleading photos and the €60 kept for the supposedly false disinfestation are why we're so dissatisfied. I'd look elsewhere. p
