Villa Garbinati

Super.

I loved the reception beneath the beautifully landscaped barchessa near the garden when I returned for a wedding. The villa sits just outside Vicenza on the Astico River, and I'd stayed there a few years earlier. The owners talked us through the restoration and decoration of the interior, explaining how they kept its original style. The organization and parking were top notch, and the work has made the exterior even more impressive.

Walking through the rooms and talking with the owners, you can feel how much care went into restoring this villa. Its history is fascinating, too. It's set in the quiet Vicenza countryside, with a lovely big garden for warm-weather events and roomy interiors that suit other seasons. I didn't stay there myself, but the owners were so welcoming that I imagine a stay would be just as good.

For our daughter's party, the villa gave us a beautiful setting to share with family and friends. We enjoyed the garden, the porch, and the lovely interiors. The owners were helpful from our very first contact, guiding us and offering advice from their experience. Many thanks, Alessandro and Patrizia.
