La Via Del Sale

The room’s wooden ceiling and matching bed frame gave it a warm, relaxing feel, and we had a truly pleasant stay at Locanda del Sale. Everything was welcoming and well kept, with a peaceful, intimate atmosphere that suited a romantic break. The person who greeted us was extremely kind and ready to help whenever we needed anything. We also enjoyed the varied, delicious breakfast buffet. A lovely place to unwind. Highly recommended!

I slept really well in the cozy, quiet room, and was very satisfied with my stay. The owner welcomed me warmly and shared excellent tips on places to eat and visit around the area. Breakfast was good, though I think it could be a little better. I'd be happy to stay here again if I get the chance.

The inn is in a great spot for getting to popular destinations for beautiful nature hikes, and I highly recommend stopping there. We found it quiet and welcoming, with every comfort. Dario is a delightful person, and was helpful from our first phone calls, answering questions about the place and excursions. His knowledge of the excursions is excellent. He calls it a retreat, not a B&B.

We felt right at home at the Locanda, where the spartan style still comes with all the comforts. As we were told right away, it's a “five-star retreat,” in keeping with the personality of the people who run it. Dario and his family welcomed us so warmly we’d give them ten stars. He knows the area inside out and makes an effort to suggest the best excursions for each guest, depending on the weather and season. Every morning at breakfast, he stops to chat with guests.
