Being there was a real pleasure. This charming place has so much history and tradition, and the visit was far more than a tasting. It became an experience we’ll remember for a long time. The cantine Mustilli is a must if you're visiting Sant’Agata. They show you the old winery underground, beneath their home, before you taste the wines, which are really amazing. The location itself is incredible, and the business is run by two sisters, a couple of amazing women. The whole experience was incredible for me.
We stayed here and stopped in for a tasting, and the hospitality was there from the moment we arrived until we left. Their white wines were a hit, and on Sunday as we were heading out they were offering some local tastes, see pictures! There’s a lovely courtyard where you can sit with a glass, play a few games, and enjoy their constant hospitality. Even the three-legged tables feel perfect: maybe not level, but they don’t wobble!!
Isabel guided us through the wine tour and tasting with local foods, and really brought out what makes this winery authentic. It’s a beautiful place, with great wine and food. Absolutely recommend it!
The wines are amazing, and the hospitality is even better. The owners are humble about their craft, though they make wonderful wines rooted in a deep family history. If Paula is available, ask her to show you the cellar right underneath the winery. It’s a sight you won’t easily forget. If you’re wise enough to visit this beautiful village, don’t hesitate to book an experience here.
