Casa Evelina

Our original accommodation, booked through an agency, fell through because of a last-minute mistake just before boarding. We ended up at Casa Evelina in Sant’Agnello, and it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The team welcomed us warmly and helped everything go smoothly despite the unexpected change. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, in a charming neighborhood full of locals, just the authentic atmosphere we love. Sorrento is a short walk away, making this a great base for exploring. A special thank you to Rosa, who put so much heart and care into her work and went above and beyond. She’s a true gem. We’ll be back, and next time we’ll book directly with Smart Holiday Sorrento. Highly recommended!

The check-in went well once we’d found our way. Google’s directions were great, but Airbnb’s were wrong. There are great local restaurants just around the corner. Sorrento town is a little way off, along a busy, unpleasant road, though there’s a longer, quieter route. We heard some noise from hotels nearby, but it wasn’t enough to bother us.

The host was very friendly and went out of the way to help us during our stay, with useful local information and recommendations. The rooms are large, with a kitchenette and balcony. Sorrento town is within walking distance. I’d definitely recommend it.

We spent a couple of nights at Casa Evelina, and the hospitality was outstanding. Federica checked us in and shared lots of helpful information. She even offered to take us to the train station and port for our day trips. Leaving our bags there after checkout was incredibly helpful, and Federica was always available with advice and a hand when we needed it. The rooms were spacious and very clean.
