Our room had air conditioning and a balcony with a great view, but there wasn't much else to recommend it. The so-called double bed was two singles pushed together, and it was as hard as the floor. Noise from the doorway kept us awake at night. The internet was poor, and the place was messy, with a mattress left on the stairs. Our reservation was moved to a nearby secondary property without notice, which staff said they could do. A few staff spoke some English, so communication was difficult. Room keys were left out in the entrance where anyone could see them. The view was lovely, but this felt like a well-located no-star hotel, even if the island's rating system calls it four stars.

The view across the bay is amazing, and it's a great place.

The dining room staff were so kind and helpful, even arranging traditional dishes when we asked to try them. We were almost the only guests, arriving just as the holiday season started. The location is stunning, with a unique view, lovely greenery and beautifully kept shared areas. Everything was extremely clean, though the rooms felt a little dated. The receptionist could be a bit more up to date, but the owner and the rest of the team more than made up for that with their professionalism. We'd definitely recommend it.

The view of the harbor from my room's terrace was wonderful, and the owners even let me have friends over there to watch the fireworks for the Feast of St. Michael. They were incredibly generous. The hotel is only steps from a charming, clean, well-kept square, and the owners and staff were truly kind and welcoming. I was especially touched when the owner made desserts just for me because I can't tolerate wheat. The food was delicious and carefully prepared. What a treat, thanks again! I'll be back.
