B&B Belvedere

We’ve stayed at the Belvedere twice now, and both visits have been wonderful. Rino and Raffaella are welcoming and make you feel like part of the family. The rooms are clean, and the breakfasts are generous and varied. Our favorite is the Belvedere room, with its spectacular view over all of Sant'Antioco. This B&B has become our regular place to stay for holidays here, and we’ll definitely come back.

Rafaella and Rino are so hospitable that staying there feels like being with family. Their lovely B&B has a peaceful feel despite being in the beautiful center of Sant Antioco, and there are two dogs for company. I stayed in the room with a rooftop terrace and enjoyed the view at sunrise and sunset. It had air conditioning, a coffee corner, a combination microwave, and some dishes. Breakfast was a delicious Italian spread, including Rafaella's homemade jam.

We spent three nights with Rino and Raffaella and felt completely at home. They were so kind and helpful, and their knowledge and tips made the holiday special. I’ll remember the morning chats with Rino, too. We’ll definitely return, and highly recommend staying with them. P.S. Did you like the melon?

We stayed for 13 nights in August. Raffaella was undoubtedly kind and helpful, but there were issues with the setup and service that weren’t mentioned in the B&B description. To reach the room, you have to cross the owners’ living room, which also serves as the hall and breakfast area. Two dogs are in that room and greet you whenever you come home or leave. I have nothing against animals, but guests should be told that pets live in the house, just as guests are expected to say if they bring pets. I also found it unhygienic to eat breakfast with the dogs nearby, approaching the table and sharing the room, as they also go into the kitchen where drinks are prepared. Breakfast was the same every day across our 13 nights, with packaged croissants and no savory choices. It was served from 8 to 10, but getting some rest until 9:30 was impossible because of the owner’s long, lively, loud conversations downstairs. We’re two people who can adapt to most things, but paying guests should be treated with respect throughout their stay. This isn’t about the stars. We stay at B&Bs all over Italy, and this is the first one where we felt uncomfortable. I hope this constructive criticism helps improve the service. Raffaella & Fabrizio
