Hotel Aldiola Country Resort

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful hotel, with its modern, cozy rooms and lovely service. Our bags went missing on the flight, and Barbara did everything she could to help, including arranging a late check-in and toothbrushes, plus whatever else we needed. Thank you so much! Breakfast was good, though fresh coffee would be a nice improvement over the machine. You could order a freshly made cup from the bar. We’d definitely come back.

The staff made us feel at home straight away, and the room was spotless, spacious, comfortable, and just as described. We stayed for the first few days of our trip at the end of August, then returned for the last day. The hotel sits on a peaceful hillside by a lake and was a great base for seeing northwestern Sardinia. Breakfast was excellent, and so was the restaurant food.

A lovely, quiet place with beautiful views and delicious food. We stayed in July and loved it. The rooms are separate bungalows, all very clean, with a comfortable mattress, and the service was great. It would make a perfect spot for a wedding. Just bring mosquito spray, there were lots by the lake 😄.

We always found a parking space when we arrived, and the pool was well cared for, though the water felt a bit cold. The hotel has a lovely setting and a beautiful view of the lake, but you can't see the lake directly from inside the room. Staff were generally friendly and available, although communication with one server at lunch was difficult. The bed was comfortable, but the other furnishings and fittings seemed somewhat outdated. At check-in the bathroom smelled unpleasant, though the smell went away over time, and the shower had a drainage problem. Breakfast was decent, but we had to eat inside because there were so many wasps outside. We were disappointed that some activities listed on the hotel website weren't available during our stay. The site information should have been accurate and up to date.
