Hotel Baita Sciatori

We'd definitely choose this place again if we return to Santa Caterina. Direct access to the Compagnoni slope is so convenient, just a few turns from the gondola lift. The hotel isn't new, but it's very well looked after and spotlessly clean. The simple furniture and wood paneling make it feel welcoming. The management family were kind and helpful, and patiently answered our questions. For a 2-star hotel, the dinner deserves 5 stars: delicious, plentiful food, with seconds and thirds kept coming. Breakfast was good too. Excellent value.

The rooms are average and could do with a little updating. One bathroom didn't have a curtain, but everything was clean. The cabin is family-run and all wood, though nothing particularly special about the rooms. We booked both breakfast and dinner, and the meals were perfect. Angelo, the girls' father, cooks beautifully and makes sure you have what you need. Dinner deserves more than five stars. The service was excellent, and the girls are very friendly. It's a minor room issue, and we'll keep coming back!

It felt like we were all part of one big family, with such a relaxed atmosphere and all the kids playing together. Breakfast was a little small compared with dinner, which had so many delicious homemade dishes!!

You can ski straight from the hotel onto the slopes, which makes the location very convenient. The family atmosphere is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are comfortable and well heated. The food is excellent and plentiful, and it's good value for money. No complaints, highly recommended!
