My son, who is autistic and partially deaf, was on a school trip. The ski instructor left him behind because he was too slow and wasn't listening, and my son ended up upset and alone at base camp until he spotted his teacher. This is a disgrace. Instructors should be better trained to care for children of all ages and with different needs.

We really enjoyed our beautiful week at this typical mountain hotel. Getting there was straightforward: ski about 100 metres to the skibus on the slope, ride for five minutes, then ski from the Santa Caterina ski centre back to the hotel. The dinners were generous, tasty, and offered plenty of choice. Breakfast was good, though I missed things like scrambled eggs or sausages. The rooms were very clean, and I especially appreciated the good, fast hair dryer. Staff were professional, friendly, and helpful, and the price was nice. We did wish there had been a sauna or whirlpool. Thank you, we'd come back!

The newer section of the hotel is really nice, and the bedrooms are functional. It's family run, which shows in how nothing seems too much trouble. The food was excellent, and for a ski hotel right by the slopes, what more do you need?

A good choice for family or school trips, and it's close to the ski lift. The staff were lovely and looked after us very well.
