Family Hotel Posta

We felt completely comfortable, even though our family doesn’t speak Italian and the other guests were all local Italian families. The staff looked after us so warmly, remembered the children’s names, and made a point of chatting with them. It gave the hotel a lovely family feel. The restaurant setup was thoughtful: we had the same assigned table for our whole stay, and our daughter quickly felt at home with the families around us. Meals were excellent, with a generous starter buffet followed by three courses and a different menu each day. The hotel was also very well organized, from the daily schedule to the dining arrangements. We spent a week at Family Hotel Posta and were delighted. The modern interiors felt cozy, and the bedding was comfortable after a day on the slopes. We hadn’t expected this level of service. Other family hotels nearby reportedly cost almost twice as much, though we haven’t tried them. For the value, this was a fantastic choice, and we highly recommend it.

The mini club at Villa Dumbo let us have a drink or dinner together by ourselves for the first time since our daughter was born, knowing she was safe, happy, and having fun. We have nothing negative to say about our short holiday. The facilities were great, the whole hotel was beautiful, and the staff were exceptional. We’re already thinking about going back.

The food was wonderful during our four days of hiking on half board, and the hotel is just 100m from the lift. What really makes it special is the staff’s instinct for service. They go out of their way to make guests feel welcome. I’ve probably stayed in more than 500 hotels, and this is among the very best at being true to what it is: a family hotel where kids have a great time and their parents can enjoy themselves too, unlike places such as Disneyland.

I couldn’t finish my booking through booking com, so I cancelled and contacted the hotel directly. At first they quoted the same price, but the final offer added another 1,000 EUR for the very same stay. That was completely unacceptable. The staff handled the problem inefficiently and unprofessionally, and communication was hard because they struggled with English. They didn’t seem organized or concerned, and did little to help resolve it. This left a very bad impression. I wouldn’t recommend booking directly with this hotel; the lack of transparency and professionalism was unacceptable.
