The rooms were okay, but very basic: the kitchen items were old, and even hand soap was missing during Covid. Cleaning was rare too. We felt so uneasy around the owner, who was rude and aggressive, that we used the garage to come and go just to avoid him. I saw him get physical with people, hitting and grabbing someone by the throat, and heard about arguments with guests and visitors. On checkout day, he insisted on inspecting our rooms before letting us leave, which made us very uncomfortable. Definitely would not stay here again.

The view from the hotel is perfect, but that alone wouldn't bring me back. We saw the breakfast buffet, which didn't look worth the roughly €16 price, and there are plenty of nice cafés and bakeries nearby. We hadn't realized we weren't allowed to invite our parents for dinner in our large apartment. The owner lost his temper and physically attacked one guest's father. When we tried to discuss the issue calmly, he shouted at all of us instead of talking it through or looking for a solution. He came across as angry and frightening, and we no longer felt safe because we didn't know what he might do.

We were well looked after by the kind, helpful staff, and the room was spacious with a fantastic shower. They also cleaned it and replaced the towels every day. The location was wonderful, right in the middle of things and convenient for reaching the main sights.

We keep coming back because they take good care of us. It's peaceful and a bit rustic, with pleasant views from the rooms. Pets are welcome, and people are generally friendly and helpful. English is mostly spoken when the right family members are around.

We were surprised to find no bathroom soap or bin bags. Still, the rest of the stay was so good: lovely views, comfortable rooms, welcoming staff, and free bus tickets included.
