Borgo San Carlo

I love this place. It works perfectly for time away with family or friends.

Beautiful nature and a great location make this a peaceful spot. The apartments are comfortable, and there’s a pool too. So far, so good!

The pool was the highlight for us: wonderfully clean, with just the right amount of chlorine, and about 15-20 meters long, 6 meters wide, and 1.7 meters deep. The landscaped grounds are lovely, with lots of trees, bushes, and flowers, plus a barbecue area with several grills and running water. Staff were friendly and quick to help with questions or problems, and we had a wonderful family holiday. Our rooms were spacious, tidy, and air-conditioned. We did miss having a wardrobe on the mezzanine, so we mostly lived out of our suitcases. The kitchen was fairly well equipped with a gas stove and microwave, though there wasn’t a really sharp knife. Wi-Fi was good enough for streaming. The bathroom shower leaked a little during use and left the floor wet.

We found the park quiet and well cared for, and the staff were very friendly. The pool was large and tidy too. Apartments normally have their own sunbeds, but it was so quiet during our stay that we didn’t need them. We didn’t experience the employee harassment mentioned in an earlier review; the man we met was friendly and helpful. The apartment was lovely and had the kitchen basics, including a moka pot, pans, and a bread knife, though no wine glasses. The air conditioning worked perfectly. A peaceful place in Tuscany, highly recommended.
