Forte Village Resort - Villa del Parco & Spa

The beach is fantastic, and ordering drinks to your spot by smartphone is a great feature. Food and service at the restaurants and elsewhere were good. There's also lots of extra entertainment and activities, including tennis, cart racing, climbing, and plenty more, though I personally don't need those. I'd rather have first-class service without extra charges, plus beach activities such as stand-up paddle or wing surfing. It was a nice business stay, but for a holiday I prefer somewhere more focused on beach lifestyle.

Carolina at Villa del Parco was the real gem for us: kind, genuine, and so warm with the children. Nothing was too much trouble, and as we left she even gave them a magnet of their parrot friend to take home. The staff made us feel welcome, like part of the family. I don't often write reviews, but this stay deserved one. We hope to return, and would recommend this place to anyone wanting a luxurious five-star stay where children are as welcome as adults. We visited Villa del Parco and Spa within Forte Village at the start of June, as a family of four, to break up a longer trip around Sardinia. It was a short stay, but memorable for all the right reasons. On arrival, friendly staff brought us to reception for the usual forms. Each of our children, aged 4 and 7, got a soft toy parrot of the village mascot 'Mario', which they loved. The children were well catered to the whole time, and never made to feel merely tolerated, as has happened on previous family trips. Our interconnecting bungalow was lovely, well appointed, and felt secluded. It had comfortable beds, a high-standard finish, quality bathroom products, and both a shower and a bath. The outdoor space between activities was appreciated by the whole family. There's a real focus on families, with lots of children's activities and entertainment. Our kids enjoyed a day at the kids club and several visits to the splash pool, their particular favorite. It was like a mini aqua park, with slides and play equipment for both ages. The kids club also had a train that took them on a long route all around the park. When we picked them up, they were smiling and full of stories. Breakfast was lovely, with good food and drink for everyone, even fussy children. We ate at Le Dune on the first night and Belvedere on the second, and both were outstanding. Staff went out of their way to make sure our two picky eaters had what they needed, which let us relax and enjoy our meals, something that doesn't always happen elsewhere. We had half board, with plenty of choices both in where to eat and what to order. While the kids were at the kids club, we managed a spa visit and a circuit of the Thalasso. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend it. The Village is huge, with different areas connected by golf-cart-serviced walkways through gardens and lush forest. The accommodation and inclusions vary by area, with some better suited to families, others to couples, and some to either. The Dune apartments right on the beach couldn't be closer to the ocean, and we hope to try them next time. We saw a lot but didn't have time to do everything on this short visit. There were many pools, a central square with nightly entertainment, shopping, countless restaurants, a go-kart track, and even a circus tent. I'd happily bring my family back for a longer stay.

The rooms feel spacious and upscale, with Sardinian-style decor and patios or balconies. The standout for me is the outdoor Thermae delForte Thalasso spa, with its pools and personal service. It sits in a quiet corner of Forte Village, where there’s a white-sand beach, restaurants, water sports, an open-air piazza, boutiques, and plenty more. Sardinia’s natural beauty and beaches make a gorgeous setting for Villa del Parco & Spa, and the local microclimate adds to the relaxing feel.

Excellent stay. I recommend the Therme.
