We booked a week at Portefino Estate Residence. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with a spectacular view. But dogs are allowed in the Estate, and one little dog right above us barked for much of the day and night. The tenants also kept moving chairs. It felt like we were sleeping just below a railway station. Senor Minnaar

We spent 7 nights at that "hotel" and won’t go back. We had trouble with the electricity and central heating, and the manager (woman) wasn’t interested in helping us. I do not recommend this place or its service. She was the worst agent I have ever met.
10/10
The residence is kept immaculately, and the setting is enchanting, with a breathtaking view.
10/10
Our apartment was huge and clean, with everything needed for a pleasant holiday. It had three bedrooms for nine people, two bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen for dining, and a huge outdoor patio with a breathtaking view. The residence has many apartments with excellent sea views, plus parking, two swimming pools with solarium, a tennis court, and a shuttle service to Rapallo and the beaches. These were all included in the cost of the stay.
6/10
Everything runs very well here, and the staff are extremely kind and efficient. My rating is about the residence’s timeshare setup, which feels obsolete now and can’t compete with modern tourist offerings.
