The people working here were so friendly and always willing to help. The house has been renovated, while the rooms still have that very old style, with modern AC, TV and WiFi in each one. Breakfast is quite basic and the choices are limited, but it’s still a nice way to start the day. There’s no restaurant, so you have to head into town for dinner.

Room Serena was clean and had air conditioning, and the bathroom was roomy. I did find it hard to wash at the basin, though. The bucket has a charming rustic look, but it isn’t practical, and another shelf for toiletries would be useful. Madam Roberta was very kind and helpful. It’s about a five-minute drive from Santa Sofia, far enough out to enjoy the peace and quiet. Breakfast was okay.

Waking up here to homemade cakes and local food was a real treat. Breakfast had such authentic flavors, and made the morning memorable. The place sits among the beautiful hills leading toward the Casentino Forests, with fresh air and greenery all around, yet Santa Sofia’s lively center is only minutes away. Everything was clean and carefully looked after, and the setting gave me a peaceful feeling, like being part of the landscape.

The owner and staff were so friendly and helpful, and everyone was polite. Our rooms were tastefully furnished and absolutely spotless. Breakfast was generous, with local products and homemade desserts. Thank you for making us feel so welcome in this beautiful green setting ❤️
