Carmelo is a wonderful host. The sea view from the terrace is perfect, and the location is good for a reasonable price. I’ll definitely come back.

The place was clean and nice, and the host was friendly and quick to respond. I gave it three stars because it was described as a B&B but there was no breakfast. We booked by phone and paid cash when we arrived. Booking.com showed 50 euros for one night, but we were charged 60 per night. The listing also said parking was free at the property. It’s actually street parking, though it’s fine if you find an open spot.

My suite had a balcony facing the sea and soundproof windows, and it was incredibly clean. Miro went out of his way to make me comfortable, even sorting out parking and suggesting an excellent restaurant. Breakfast is served at the bar next door. I found it very good value and highly recommend it.

Two stars, no more and no less. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the fridge was large. The bed was a little worn but still comfortable, with extra pillows in the wardrobe. The balcony was a good size, with a very nice sea view and an extremely beautiful sunrise. The bad parts: despite our explicit request not to be disturbed, someone came into the room. The owner or cleaning staff said they were only changing the bin bags and replacing toilet paper, and the owner said the cleaners could be sent back out. The stovetop had a large hole and couldn’t be used. They changed the bathroom bin bags, then left the window open and the light on, so there were mosquitoes everywhere. It’s not peaceful here. The bar downstairs is loud every evening and stays open until 3 a.m. It’s bearable with the windows shut, but that’s difficult on hot days because the air conditioning doesn’t work properly. When the weather is warm, the bar opens its upper deck, so people can look onto the balcony and you can’t sit there comfortably. There’s no privacy screen, so people in the street can also see into the accommodation. And who wants the awning in front of them all the time? I don’t really recommend staying here. We had the room directly above the bar.

We had a wonderful family beach holiday here. The sea is about a 20-meter walk away, so it’s a great choice if you want to head straight from your room to the water. Breakfast is included, a croissant and coffee at California Cafe in the same building. It starts at 6:00 each morning. You tell the waiter your name and how many days you’re staying, and they record it, so after the first day you can just come in for breakfast. The accommodation belongs to Carmello Riffato, a very nice man around 60, who shares it with his very pleasant daughter Eliza. She understands and speaks English, unlike her father. In the neighborhood, people generally speak Italian, and English can be a real challenge for them. If you can communicate with Carmello, he may even offer you figs or plums from his own garden, which are lovely. The room was spacious, with a huge double bed and a huge balcony furnished with a table, chairs, a clothes dryer, and a sink. Ours had a side view of the sea, but we could still see the water very well. The stylish Italian furniture looked expensive, and the room had air conditioning, a flat Samsung TV, a refrigerator, a gas cooker, a hood, a sink, and plenty of dishes and cookware. There were also dressers, a table, and four chairs. Everything was wooden, and clay pictures with sea themes hung on the walls. The bathroom had a shower, toilet, bidet, washbasin, mirror, soap, shampoo, and large towels. The room was bright, with large metal-framed glass doors opening to the balcony from both the main room and bedroom, and there was a light on the balcony. There are bus stops nearby, with regular buses that were surprisingly empty, usually carrying just one or two people. The beach also has a shower with warm, sometimes even hot, water.
