We slept really well, lulled by the sound of the Piave River. The rooms are large, clean and excellent in every way, and the owner was welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic, all authentic rather than industrialized like at many places. The village is very quiet, and Sappada is only a 5-minute drive away, so Campolongo di Cadore is a handy base. You can reach San Stefano or Sappada by car in just a few minutes. I’d recommend it to families with young children as well as adults. We’ll definitely return with family and friends. We’ve learned these are the best places to find peace and relaxation.

Amelio and Lucia made us feel right at home and were wonderful to us. The hotel is beautifully kept and well placed, with lovely, clean rooms. Breakfast was plentiful and excellent. A truly beautiful place, highly recommended.

The room had a balcony with a lovely view of the mountains around us, and breakfast was modest in selection but freshly made and very good. This is a nice hotel in Campolongo, right beside the river. It’s a little older, with a rustic, authentic feel.
