Locanda Da Pierina

We’d just come back from a short, lovely break in the Dolomites near Sappada, a town I adore, and already want to return. We stayed half-board at this welcoming inn and had everything we needed. Anna, Massimo, and Andrea were so hospitable and helpful, and Pierina and Giuseppe deserve a special thank you. The room was very comfortable and spotless, the service was exceptional, and both breakfast and dinner were excellent. Their kindness meant a lot to us.

Pierina and Anna cook fantastic food, and there’s plenty of it. The owners were friendly and helpful, and we felt like part of the family. They also pointed us toward lovely places nearby that were less crowded than the popular spots. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming, and the place works well for relaxing or heading out on Dolomites excursions. There’s lots to see around here. We had a wonderful time, would definitely return, and highly recommend it!

Pierina made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. My partner and I came to celebrate our anniversary, and the mountain view from our spotless, cozy room was wonderful. The food was plentiful and sublime, and everything had that warm, family feel. I’d struggle to find a fault, it all felt perfect. Thanks so much, we’ll be back.

Anna took care of everything and made our four days wonderful. She’s a lovely hostess, always kind, smiling, and ready to help. Pierina’s cooking was amazing, and breakfast had lots of variety and plenty to eat. The room was warm, smelled fresh, and was spotless. It really felt like home, with every little detail looked after.
