We liked it so much that we added another night to our booking. The medieval building is impressive, right in the center of a lovely, peaceful hilltop town. Our room was spacious, and some rooms have balconies, with views over the town and its churches. The staff were kind and great, the restaurant was beautiful, and the house wine was really good too. A special B&B and restaurant.

We only went to the restaurant, not the hotel, and had a delicious meal. The €35 menu lets you choose antipasti, pasta and meat, and comes with local wine, coffee and a local digestive. There are also €30 and €25 menus, plus à la carte. The room felt lovely, with classical music in the background, tasteful decor and gentle, friendly service. We were pleasantly surprised and would come back. Santu Lussurgiu is worth the detour.

We stayed in one of the rooms in a nearby building rather than eating at the restaurant. It was an amazing room, and the balcony view says it all, the best view in Santu Lussurgiu. The main building has the feel of an old castle. Friendly staff who knew their stuff. A great B&B in a small mountain village, highly recommended.

The town itself was lovely, and the hotel was really beautiful. We had a wonderful room with a balcony looking across the town. Having coffee in the cafe while music from the music school played nearby is a memory I'll treasure.

We came for lunch on a local's advice and what a meal. There was a generous range of antipasti, with pasta and meat available if you wanted them. Everything tasted amazing. The €30 menu includes wine, coffee and liquor.
