The pool was a disappointment, with only a few jacuzzi jets. Access to the sauna and steam room also costs 20 euro, even though I think those should come with pool entry. We booked a Standard room and paid more for a Comfort room, but they were no different. The Comfort room only had a kettle, and its cord was too short to reach a plug. There were flies everywhere, including more than ten that we killed across our two rooms, the dining room, and the breakfast buffet. Eating with flies around was disgusting. When I told reception, they apologised and said they'd report it to the managers again, which made it sound like this wasn't a new problem. The staff were welcoming and available, but the hotel and spa didn't feel like four-star places despite what we paid. I won't return and wouldn't recommend it.

I was here with a big group for a week, and they did a fantastic job handling vegetarian, vegan, and other allergen-free diets for all three meals each day. Lunch and dinner were different every day, delicious, and had several choices each time. I especially liked the heated outdoor pool. You'll need a car to stay here, though. Without one, you can't really get anywhere.

The thermal pools were a real highlight, with several indoor and outdoor options, jacuzzis, and pools with or without fountains. We had a great time there, and the hotel staff were very helpful. The lockers were provided, and the bathrooms were clean. The massage menu listed lots of options, but the descriptions were vague. They didn't ask whether we wanted Thai, Swedish, or another style, or about pressure or oil. I asked for deeper pressure and still got a light touch. The techniques were good, and my masseuse was professional and gentle, but my friend had a similar issue with pressure. My friend's masseuse coughed in the room without a mask, which felt unhygienic and unprofessional.

We spent a day at the spa in September, and the hotel felt calm and relaxing. Everywhere was clean and tidy, and the staff were kind and helpful. My partner has a food intolerance, and the restaurant and cafe staff were exceptionally helpful. The manager especially took care to make sure she was satisfied. We'll definitely come back next year!
