B&B Rifugio della luna

The breakfast was full of genuine flavors and got the day off to a lovely start. During my three days at B&B Rifugio della Luna in mid-February, I also found the rooms clean and thoughtfully cared for, with modern comforts and a traditional feel. They’re on the small side, though waking up to the Satriano landscape and the quiet around the property made it easy to slow down and enjoy the region. The welcome was sincere and courteous from the start, while still giving me space. I couldn’t find anything to complain about. It was a wonderfully peaceful stay, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic experience in the heart of Basilicata.

Concetta and Antonio made us feel right at home. The house is well placed for exploring beautiful Basilicata, and the spacious rooms were very clean. It’s surrounded by greenery, with a breathtaking view and a warm, welcoming feel. Thank you 🫶🏻

Breakfast was generous and excellent, and the rooms were lovely, comfortable, and welcoming. We stayed for three days and found the owners kind and helpful, which feels rare these days. Set beneath the Torre di Satriano, the property is ideally placed for visiting the fantastic sites nearby. Staying here was truly rejuvenating, and we’d definitely like to come back.

We spent two restful nights here, just above the village of Satriano di Lucania. Signora Concetta, the owner, was incredibly kind and attentive to every detail, and the charcuterie and cheese platters we asked for when we arrived were excellent. The house has two simply but tastefully furnished bedrooms and a new, comfortable bathroom. Breakfast is served in the entrance hall, where there’s also a small kitchen. It was plentiful and full of authentic flavors. Highly recommended.
