The staff made us feel very comfortable, with a welcoming manner and real professionalism. The setting also works well for visiting Bolzano, nearby villages, and the ski resorts. I found it a peaceful place to spend a few days in nature and enjoy South Tyrolean traditions. The cuisine is excellent, with typical local dishes and locally sourced ingredients, plus plenty of choice, including vegetarian options. The sauna area is inviting and well kept. It feels like a good fit for couples or families wanting to recharge in a warm, relaxing atmosphere.

We enjoyed ourselves enough to want to return. The owner is a fantastic cook, the food is excellent, and the service is so friendly and attentive you couldn’t ask for more. The hotel adds to the relaxing feel of the Sarntal Valley in South Tyrol. It’s clean throughout, with tidy rooms and modern bathrooms.

The apartments aren’t brand new, but they’re practical and have everything needed: an electric stovetop, TV, Wi-Fi, coffee maker and moka pot, plus bed linen and towels. They’re excellent value. Bolzano Card and information about tourist activities are available, there’s parking, and the bus stop is nearby. Pets are welcome too. The residence is just below San Martino, in a quiet, sunny spot a few kilometers from Sarentino, the San Martino ski area, and Valdurna.

Our little break at the Berger Hof has just ended, and we’re already hoping to return. It was so quiet, and the staff paid close attention to what we needed, especially since celiac disease can make a vacation tricky. Thank you for taking such good care of us with delicious meals.
